Proffesional Dance Development

For those individuals who just cannot get enough of dancing, we often find many people go on to pursue careers in dance and performing arts.

For students aiming a career in dance, entering for exams, preparing for an audition or a full-time dance student wanting to improve on their technique, we offer private tuition to aid their further education learning and audition support.

Our tuition is solely focused on you/your child’s goals, helping to improve technique, performance skills, understanding of their individual talents and strengths and how to use it alongside musicality. Class One has tuition designed to help students take their dance skills to the next level and, with the help of our experienced teachers, private sessions and or classes are an excellent way to progress further.

Students will develop the technical, expressive and performance skills necessary to progress onto further vocational or higher education in dance; alongside developing the choreographic, contextual, and theoretical knowledge that will enable them to be successful on their chosen course.

Class One is also able to offer services including headshots, performance reels and portfolio/ CV writing service to students training with us.

Many students who have trained at Class One have gone on to successfully obtain scholarships and places at schools such as, Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA) Laines Theatre Arts, London and Urdang, London. Other students have also studied locally at Expressions Performing Arts (EPA) and specialist BA Hons Degrees in Dance and Performing Arts.

As Gillian is a former professional dancer/performer for over ten years, working alongside many well know industry names, Gillian has first-hand knowledge and experience of what it takes to achieve a long-term career in dance and performance.
